Pastor Steve came to Holy Trinity in January of 1992. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He attended Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated in 1988. Prior to serving at Holy Trinity, Steve served as a missionary in Colombia, South America and parishes in North Dakota. He has completed his doctorate at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, Kentucky studying the powerful effects of multisensory components used in worship.
He is eager to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in an effective manner relevant to the current culture. He has particular interest in reaching un-churched people with the life-changing news of Jesus Christ.
Steve enjoys most all sports including basketball, biking and water sports. He also enjoys spending time with his kids, guitar, tinkering in the shop and Hot Tamales. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Debbie for 21 years. They have three children, Katie, Benjamin and McKenzie. Contact .
