LOGOS (for Third through Fifth Graders)

The new LOGOS year has come! We are very excited to get started and see what God has for us! There are just a few things for you to start thinking about and marking on your calendars…

1. As families please begin praying about how you are going to serve through LOGOS this year. We ask that every family commit to serving in this program. Most importantly, we want this to be a part of your family's faith walk together. As the LOGOS ministry we want to walk along side you and support this family walk. We have many areas for you to serve, and we will provide training and/or instruction for the positions you serve in. A few of the positions that will be available are Table Parents, Bible Study Leaders, Nursery Adults, Kitchen Servers, Volunteer Coordinators, and many other opportunities. All we ask is that you pray about where God is calling you to serve this year as you register your child for LOGOS. We are excited to see how God is going to use all of you as well!

2. Mark on your Calendar: MANDATORY Registration Meetings! Since our registration meetings also involve signing up for volunteer commitments, it is necessary to have everyone available at one of the two meetings. Your choices are:

Sunday, August 29th: 11:30 am (Following Church) - Sanctuary
Monday, August 30th: 7:00 pm - Sanctuary

Attention, Israel! GOD, our God!
GOD the one and only!
Love GOD, your God, with your whole heart:
love him with all that's in you,
love him with all you've got!
Write these commandments that I've given you today
on your hearts.
Get them inside of you and then get them
inside your children.
Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or
walking in the street;
talk about them from the time you get up in the morning
to when you fall into bed at night.
Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder;
inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes
and on your city gates.
