Children, Youth & Family Ministry

Holy Trinity’s Children, Youth & Family (CYF) Ministry programs run during the traditional school year (September – May). Vacation Bible School is held for one week during the summer. Subscribe to Holy Trinity’s weekly e-newsletter, HTLConnections, to receive CYF program news!

The goal of Children, Youth & Family Ministry is to experience the love of Christ through every encounter at Holy Trinity. These are some of the most formative years of a child’s life and it is a great privilege to partner with parents to help students grow spiritually.

Youth Ministry

6th – 9th Grade
Confirmation instruction is an important step in the faith journey of middle school youth. Instruction takes place on Sundays, 9 – 10:30 am, or Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 pm. Students will publicly affirm their faith in front of trusted adults and peers in the fall of their 9th grade year.

Key Components
  • Weekly Participation: Students participate in worship, followed by large & small group discussions where they dive into what it means to be a Lutheran and a Christian in today’s world.
  • Sermon Notes: During worship, students answer questions in the bulletin to discuss with their small group leaders.
  • Service Teams: All students will serve on a service team.

9th – 12th Grade
All high school students are invited to bring a friend to Agape for worship, food, and fun!
Wednesdays, 6-7:30 pm

“Agape” (ah-gah-pay) is a Greek word that means “unconditional and enduring love for all from God.” Holy Trinity believes high school students are the leaders of today. By providing a space where students can ask tough questions, develop meaningful relationships with their peers, and pursue leadership opportunities within the church, the goal is to feel “Agape” as the beautiful person that God created them to be.
